Zou Lei, Chairman of China Datang, held talks with Dr. Angela Wilkinson, Secretary General and CEO of the World Energy Council, on the sidelines of the 24th Conference on the Electric Power Supply Industry & Exhibition.
They engaged in friendly discussions on tackling climate change, promoting China’s and the worlds’ energy transition towards clean and low-carbon solutions, advancing carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, and deepening practical cooperation.

China Datang is ready to actively participate in events organized by WEC, such as the 26th World Energy Congress, and engage in discussions with global energy industry experts, scholars, and business leaders on energy security and transformation, contributing China Datang’s part to the sustainable development, Zou said.
