Zou Lei and Kou Wei greet overseas employees online

On Feb.9, CDT Chairman Zou Lei and President Kou Wei sent Chinese New Year blessings to 876 overseas employees distributed in 13 countries and regions through a video conference, expressing their heartfelt thanks and high respect to all employees and their families. They also emphasized the prevention and control work of the epidemic, especially during the Spring Festival.

Zou Lei listened carefully to the report on the overall situation of overseas epidemic prevention and control of CDT given by International Cooperation Department, and the reports on epidemic prevention and control, project implementation and key work plan in the next stage given by a number of overseas enterprises and project departments.
Zou Lei spoke highly of the sense of responsibility and dedication of CDT’s employees stationed overseas and the major achievements they have made, including the successful completion of Indonesia PMU acquisition, the steady progress of Meulaboh coal-fired power project, the success of Myanmar Dapein I Hydropower Plant in dealing with the largest flood since its commissioning, etc. Their practical actions have shown their loyalty to career and conscientiousness to CDT, their strong confidence in defeating the pandemic, as well as the significant contributions made by China’s central SOEs.
Zou Lei emphasized that the person in charge and the top management teams of all overseas enterprises and project departments must fulfill responsibilities to improve the epidemic prevention and control work to guarantee the safety and health of employees, ensuring that all employees working abroad have a safe and peaceful Spring Festival. The related companies should visit the families of overseas employees, take care of their families, and send Chinese New Year greetings to their families.
