CDT’s first secondary reheating 1,000MW unit put into operation
On December 7, 2019, the 168-hour trial operation of Unit 1 of the new project of Guangdong Datang?International Leizhou?Power Plant was a complete success.
Guangdong Datang?International Leizhou?Power Plant Phase I project constructed two 1,000MW ultra-supercritical secondary reheat coal-fired generating units. These two units are the first secondary reheating 1,000MW units of CDT and also the first of such kind in Guangdong Province. Compared with traditional 1,000MW units, this project has such technological advantage as high parameters, large capacity, and new technology. Once put into production, under rated conditions, the coal consumption of the unit is expected to reach the design value of 265.91 g / kWh. Compared with the same capacity and high-efficiency primary reheat unit, it can reduce coal burning by about 74,800 tons and reduce CO2?emissions by about 206,000 tons, reduce SO2?emissions by about 23.3 tons, which is of great significance for promoting the sustainable development of the local economy.
Leizhou?project invested 1.37 billion yuan?for the construction of environmental protection facilities and the implementation of ecological and environmental protection measures; at the same time, a flue gas treatment system with international leading technology, fully enclosed ash and slag removal facilities and industrial wastewater, domestic sewage, coal-containing wastewater treatment system were built. The project is also equipped with the largest domestic spiral coal unloader, fully enclosed coal yard and coal conveyor belt, which effectively avoids dust in the coal unloading process; it also achieves near zero discharge of waste water. As a result, environmental protection indicators reached Chinese leading level.
